You opt for either an early morning or an afternoon half day session. You would visit the Barmanala Wetlands and then proceed to Chidiyatapu, a mixed evergreen forest. The luscious evergreen forest is home to a variety of endemic and migratory birds.
Locate some endemic birds and resident birds, only found in Andaman in the Indian subcontinent. At Chidiyatapu, you will encounter birds such as White-headed Starling, Andaman Flower-pecker, Andaman Drongo, Andaman Shama, Andaman Bulbul, Andaman Coucul, White-breasted Woodswallow, Asian Glossy Starling, Collared Kingfisher, Pacific Reef Heron, Striated Heron, Western Yellow Wagtail, White-bellied Sea Eagle, Cattle Egret, Orange-headed thrush, etc.
The assigned driver will pick you up from your respective hotel. And you will be dropped of to the starting point of your birdwatching location.
The birdwatching experts will guide you through the jungle/hill/wetlands and explain about the birds and their habitats.
Once the activity is done, the driver will drop you back to your hotel, where you can continue the night as planned.
